Root Beer Braised Beef Short Ribs

Notes: No celery. Substituted chicken broth for beef broth. 3/4 teaspoon rosemary. Mainly, we changed the cooking method. Didn't cook the veggies for as long before tossing the meat and broth/root beer ingredients back in. Then cooked 30 to 45 minutes on the stove on medium, rather than in the oven. And ate the veggies with the meat rather than tossing them out.

Plan on using left over "broth" (it's very watery) to cook rice with something else. It's very tasty.
